A dog that vanished three years prior at long last had his day when he was brought together with his gang in Virginia – more than 1,500 miles from where they’d last seen him.
Ayana Kelly and her gang invited back their American pit bull terrier Gucci on Thursday.
The dog disappeared in 2013 from the family’s yard in San Antonio, Texas, two weeks before they moved to Norfolk, Virginia.
The family made fliers and looked the area yet didn’t discover Gucci, Kelly said. She said she supposes somebody took him.
“We were crushed,” Kelly said. “We truly felt like we deserted a relative.”
Two weeks back, Kelly’s spouse, Gary, got a call from a San Antonio creature cover saying the microchipped canine arrived.
The family was told somebody had administered to Gucci for some time yet couldn’t any longer, and in the long run took him to the safe house.
Kelly said she needed to leave promptly to recover Gucci, yet it was too far. She enlisted a creature salvage bunch, For The Love of Paws R.I. Save and Transport, to transport Gucci to Virginia.
Wendy Perry, who drove Gucci to the Kellys’ home, cautioned the family that Gucci wasn’t the same canine back who vanished three years prior. He might have been utilized for reproducing or manhandled, she said.
In any case, after the trek, Kelly said, Gucci was the same dim and white puppy when he landed at his new home late Thursday. He wagged his tail and circled as though he’d been there some time recently, she said.
“He’s the same huge child,” Gary Kelly said.
